Captains meeting at the ECC

The captains meeting was held on 16th of October in the Athos Palace playing hall. The captains of 82 teams (64 men and 18 women) were present at the meeting. The tournament manager Theodoros Tsorbatzoglou greeted the players and welcomed them to the event.
By a majority of votes the playing schedule has been changed. Games will start daily at 2:30 local time, half an hour later than previously announced.
The ECU President Boris Kutin and the tournament director Dirk De Rider presented the case of Fabiano Caruana (Linex Magic) and voting took place as well. The meeting finished after all the captains have submitted their final team rosters.
